Kumusta po Kayo everyone.
Wow. the Lord sure knows how to give challenges and trials. But it is great, because I am learning soo much. First off. There is an Elder in my district who is having a really hard time. And there is a sister in my district who is having a really hard time with him. Haha. There was a lot of emotions last week. Basically, this elders attitude about things needed to change. I had an interview with him and a lot was discussed. I was totally relying on the Lord for this and just trying to follow the spirit, cause if any of you know me, I don't like talking, I'm a listener. I don't give advice, I take advice. ha. But the Lord was guiding me and I was amazed at how well things went. Right now things are good. The sister is doing very well now that things have been cleared up a little. The Elders attitude has changed, not completely, but it is a lot better. I'm still a little worried about him, cause he still isn't where we would like him to be though. Anyways. Yesterday we had our first REAL TRC. Man. For our Wika task (the language task of getting to know the investigator), Elder Farnsworth and I butchered it....Hahaha. We were supposed to talk to them for about 15 minutes, and in about 5 minutes we had depleted our whole knowledge haha. So I was resorting to saying things like Magandang ding ding ninyo. Which means; You have a beautiful wall. Or Kumusta la upuan ninyo. Which is, How is your chair? Haha. It was pretty great. We just had to keep a conversation going for 15 minutes so yeah. It was fun. Elder Farnsworth and I are really in tune with each other. When we taught the lesson to our investigator, we did really well at following each other. It's pretty cool.
Oh so last week when there was the Mission presidents training, and the whole first presidency and quorum of the twelve were here, we had a devotional from Elder Bednar which was AMAZING. I don't remember if I wrote that in my last letter. Also I passed by Elder Dallin H Oaks, and He said, "Hows it going Elders?" That was cool. Anyways, just thought I would share that. Yester day I auditioned for a musical number. I auditioned Savior, Redeemer Of my Soul. Yeah yeah Devin! After seeing the movie 17 miracles and devin playing it, it has been going through my head. it;s such a good song. I got a yes! I don't know when or for who I will be performing for yet, but I will be preforming in about two weeks. Cool Corn.
Oh. So You guys should write me letters. I didn't get any mail this week... That was a downer. Don't email. Write, or use dear Elder. Thanks :)
Things are going well. I got to see Elder Robison a couple of times before he headed off to the Guatamal MTC. that was cool. I have been here for 2 and a half weeks now. It has gone by way fast, but at the same time, I feel like I have been here for forever. I just want to go to the Philippines right now! haha. I love you all and I will talk to ya next week!
P.S. My district is tone deaf and it is killing me. :) Also I am one of 2 people who play the piano in my zone, so that means that I am playing the hymns for sacrament on Sunday. Oh no. Haha Joke Lang. Its all good. It will be good practice. Bye.
